My Bachelor project focused on city marketing, with the Rhine river as Düsseldorf's main trade route and the central theme. The six-month project included a 3D model, an image video of a fictional exhibition, promotional posters, and a printed guide to the MS Westfalia. My thesis explored how combining tangible experiences with local pride enhances city marketing. I envisioned the MS Westfalia, a two-story ship, as a means to showcase Düsseldorf's culinary, historical, and artistic essence while offering a preview of the city’s sights and virtues through image videos, gamification, media exhibits and two fictional restaurants.
