Despite the fact that the Coronavirus pandemic was still raging in 2021, my freelance activities began to flourish thanks to friends and former colleagues being sweet baby angels and recommending my services wherever possible. Through the “Women in Digital Media“ Facebook group, my work for Science and Startups began, resulting in an elevation of their Corporate Design and a variety of social media templates and infographics. Science & Startups is the association of the four startup services of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Its main goal is supporting science-based startups on the road to success with founder grants, co-founder and talent matching, scientific mentoring programs all the while enabling students to access networking events, scientific infrastructure and deep-dive accelerators in the realms of “Sustainable City“, “Health“ and “Artificial Intelligence“.

 

The goal was to create designs any team member of Science & Startups could access and adapt according to whichever program needed to be advertised. This meant coding the colours of the four universities and adapting the templates depending on the messenger (TU Berlin = red, Humboldt University = green, Charité = grey, Freie Universität = blue).
